Appearance:
Cassy has a short stature (1.58cm or 5' 2"). She is thin, but slightly hippy, and small chested. Her brunette hair was dark brown when she was younger, and has lightened to a mahogany as she got older; her hair is long with no bangs. She has a diamond shaped jawline with a button nose, and freckles across it. Her eyes are hazel.
Background:
As a young girl, Cassy's grandfather used to tell her a story of the Egyptian Pharaoh, Obeko. She was fascinated by Obeko's seven mystical diamonds that had helped his land and people; and the curse Obeko placed on his tomb to permit only ONE to enter to retrieve the diamonds.
Cassy's life has been turned on its head. She's no longer worried about a silly story that her grandfather had told her. She's lost both parents in a car accident, she's been forced to move from her hometown to Saskatoon, SK, her relationship with her oldest brother Michael is estranged, and when she starts school, Cassy is bullied by Zack Exacil.
She endures a lot during the first weeks of living in Saskatoon, but her petty problems are the least of her concern. As it turns out, Zack Exacil is an ally that Cassy must learn to trust as she learns about a group of criminals that have set their sights on her. She's assumed to be the supposed heir to Obeko's seven diamonds. With the help of the secret organization, the Federal Undercover Agency (FUA), Cassy has to overcome the possibility that she may never have a normal teenage life again if she's forced into Obeko's cursed tomb.

Appearance:
Michael stands tall at 1.82m (6’0). He is a broad shouldered, slightly built young adult. His square cheeked face is clean shaven, with an award-winning smile.
Background:
Michael is the oldest Waters brother. Though Cassy and he were once close, when he moved unexpectedly to Saskatoon, he lost touch with his siblings. He is trying to keep the family together while they grieve their parents’ loss, but is struggling with suddenly becoming the authority figure, and rebuilding his relationships with them as a brother. He reacts poorly to difficult situations. All the while that Cassy is getting into trouble, he believes that she is acting out and cannot accept her words as anything but lies. His life has turned upside down. He’s lost his parents, his siblings moved in, he’s dealing with two siblings not dealing with their situation well, and he’s juggling work and school as he tries to complete his computer science degree.

Appearance:
Brant is average height (1.79m or 5’9”) with large burly arms/shoulders. His thick brunette hair is shortly cropped, and he has dark brown eyes that soften his square jawline.
Background:
Brant is the middle Waters brother. He doesn’t express his struggles with the move to a new school because he's maintaining a strong face. He is having issues with catching up in school and ends up failing a course because he’s too far behind. He is graduating in June. Brant is looking forward to post-secondary education, yet, is trying to figure out what he wants to do with university or college. He is a caregiver type and rational thinker. He tries to resolve everything around him to avoid his own problems.

Appearance:
Vince is a tall (1.55m or 5’11”), scrawny teenager. His face is narrow and elongated, generally with a goofy smile plastered across it. His thick brunette hair tucks behind his ears to keep out of his face.

Background:
Vince is the youngest Waters brother. To cope with his parents’ deaths, he has turned to drinking heavily. He is regularly in his own solitude, out with friends, or found eating (which is a consequence of a growth spurt). Vince tries to hide the drinking as much as possible from his siblings, which forms a wall between them. He is a jokester at heart, and lightens the mood as much as possible to hide his inner demons and to cheer up his family.

Appearance:
Zack is a tall (1.82m or 6’0”), leanly muscled teenager, with long legs. He has a sharp jawline and square face, with piercing brown eyes. His dark brown hair is styled in a longer Caesar cut.

Background:
Zack Exacil begins his journey as an antagonist in The Egyptian Heir. He comes across as the bully of Cassy’s school. He targets her, since she’s the new girl, and greets her with condescension. He does not take kindly to her not conceding to his demands and grabs hold of her. His ego is bruised when he ends up on his back after she ends the assault. Zack takes advantage of playing the victim when he cuts himself during class and forms the illusion that Cassy is the tormentor. He creates a tirade against her with his friends, yet, in secrecy, Zack asks her out in an attempt to re-establish their relationship. This wish-washy behaviour sends Cassy for a loop, and she is increasingly leery of him. The bullying comes to head, and Cassy is attacked by a group of girls. Zack rushes in to stop it and protects Cassy.
His true persona may not be as vicious as it appears, and he quickly becomes a trustworthy ally in Cassy’s world as Zack explains he works for an undercover agency, the Federal Undercover Agency, and has been assigned to protect her from the malicious criminals hunting for The Egyptian Heir.
Zack’s past is shrouded behind secrets and misconceptions, and he learns to navigate through how to overcome the trials in his past, present, and future. Through his growth, he becomes the White Knight of The Egyptian Heir.
